Privacy Policy

1) Overview

QuranFlow is designed to support consistent Quran reading while respecting user privacy. This policy explains what data we currently process, how it is used, and your available choices.

2) Free users: local-only mode

In free mode, reading data (such as last read point and progress) is stored locally on your device only. We do not currently sync free-user reading progress to the cloud.

3) Premium users: optional account and cloud sync

Premium users may optionally create an account using Supabase Authentication (username/password flow) to enable cloud-based reading progress sync across devices.

• Account credentials are handled through Supabase Auth.
• Premium reading progress may be stored/synced in the cloud.
• Premium account details and subscription status may be stored to support premium features.

4) Notifications

QuranFlow may store reminder preferences (such as schedule and style settings) to deliver local notifications on your device. These reminders are intended to help you maintain reading consistency.

5) Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers in QuranFlow. If analytics or ads are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect.

6) Crash reporting

We do not currently use crash reporting services. If crash reporting is added later, we will update this policy to explain what data is collected and why.

7) Data sharing and sale

We do not sell personal data. We only process data as needed to provide app functionality (including optional premium sync).

8) Data retention

Local device data remains on your device unless you remove the app or clear app storage. For premium cloud sync accounts, data may be retained while the account remains active and as required for operational, security, or legal purposes.

9) Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect stored data. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to minimize risk through secure service providers and responsible engineering practices.

10) Children’s privacy

QuranFlow is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through premium account features, contact us and we will review and address the request.

11) Your rights and choices

• You can use free mode without creating a premium cloud account.
• You can disable reminders in app settings at any time.
• You can request account-related support, data questions, or deletion requests by contacting us.
